Pastoral, Missionary & Church Planters' Training“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” Matt. 29: 19-20 First Graduation Ceremony on 28th of September, 2011
16 students graduated in the 1st class Although ACM is pioneering in evangelism to several villages, due to lack of evangelists, church planters, and pastors our follow-up for new believers is still ineffective. The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few. However, we have identified several independent churches and pastors who are not affiliated with any denominations, and our goal is to train them with an emphasis on missional disciple-making ministry. A common problem in many of these churches is that the pastor has little or no training. Even after years of ministry and investment of human resources, church growth is relatively low. The goal of the Pastoral, Missionary, and Church Planters Training is to provide initial training for full-time evangelists, missionaries, pastors, and church planters, preparing them to teach more efficiently towards church growth in rural areas of India. The training will equip and nurture the students to plant healthy and reproducing churches with evangelistic passion. Our Agape Bible College was started with the intention of training local pastors, evangelists and missionaries in correct biblical doctrine and theology. While there are numerous emerging Christian leaders in the area, many are untrained in proper interpretation and understanding of Scripture. Training 50 Christian Leaders is Our Vision for 2012 |
Goals & Needs:
The goal of Agape Bible College is to train pastors, missionaries, and evangelists who have a burden for reaching the unreached in rural and tribal regions with the intention of eventually planting churches in these regions. We offer free training to those who are qualified, committed, and called by God to serve in this area. Because we receive no fees from the students, all of our operational expenses are dependent upon outside contributions. We are looking for donors who would support each student by giving $50 per month. At present we have 16 students (missionary pastors) who are being trained by us in the Salem center. Therefore, we need a total of $800 per month to run the Bible College. If you would like to help support a Bible School student, visit our Contact Us page to see how you can contribute to this important ministry. Future Hopes and Plans We are currently searching for land for our Bible College with great faith that God will provide. As funds become available, we will be able to establish a full-time residential Bible College project. |
